I think actually it is a very good tag line. The practical part is from the "practical" spiritual advice etc.
Just like you said, spirituality is the main focus.
Steve does not just blog about personal development. He also talks about egg eaters are nazies, various recipies etc.
Still it is called personal developement.
Spiritual develpment is not possible without at least some personal developemnt.
In conclusion
I think that you will not find 1 tagline that fits verything unless it is 3 lines long
This one sounds very good to me.
