 its not about vday
i cant possibly know all that is going on w/u w/such limited info, but...
it seems u have been disappointing her for quite some time (perhaps it is just the distance) and vday was the culmination of this.
If u had been making her happy all along, vday is just a blip on the radar, but in most cases vday is a chance for those not living up to expectaions a chance to make it all up and when only further disappointment is received that is when it becomes fodder for conversation.
