Medical school and the profession itself does raise a lot of issues when it comes to sleep (or the actual opportunities to do it, more precisely). I'd recommend you probe your colleagues from higher years, to learn a few strategies with proven success... they always have them, out of necessity.
Take the legit ones and scrap those that sound shady to you (a few meds students have them and don't realize the potential dangers). I'm sure you'll know how to tell them apart.
