ALG summed it up nicely.
As you imagine the new person you want to be, your behaviour will correspondingly change to match the image in your head.
The reason for this is that the vast majority of our actions are controlled by our subconcious, our habits and reactions and emotions.
When we conciously make ourselves move outside of these habits, they kick in to bring us back on course, like the autopilot on a plane. This is why it is so hard to break habits by changing your behaviour.
However, if instead you attack the habits at their source, your subconcious, you can remove them much more quickly and easily.
Your subconcious cannot tell the difference between reality and imagination. So the more you
imagine acting like a successful person, the more your subconcious will alter your behaviour and habits automatically to match what it thinks is your now
normal behaviour.
Things that used to take immense effort to do, not flow naturally, things that used to flow naturally now take a lot of effort to do.
I rewrote a huge amount of my habits in the last 6 months, and my life has gone through the roof. And I did it all in my imagination first, real world second.
renie408, good on you for posting this. I am sure it was partially a way to keep you to your promise because you have commited it to it publically.
It is much easier to give up on something that is a secret.
I know you will do fine. (
I really know you will.
