Hi this seems somewhat misleading and ambiguous so I thought I'd reply and say that It seems the emphasis should be placed on the fact that brains are communicating with machines and that the machines then in turn communicate that information with another (human) brain. And that especially, it seems there is a continous connection from one person to the next via use of electrodes (The cables). So, not really anything new I dont think, aside from there being 2 separate human brains hooked up to the same computer instead of the usual 1 (experiments have been going for some time now in this particular direction of research).
