Is it your intention...? You're already thinking about it, you're intending it, maybe your listening to your recorded intention, but are you talking about it...? If so how often...?

Perhaps some of the more experienced can share their views / thoughts on this...?
There is some interesting stuff on this very important point you've brought up.

One: talking positively vs. negatively is important---If my intention reflects a positive outlook/hope/intention in life or some aspect of life, and what comes out of my mouth is negative....well you get the picture..I'm creating and attracting negativity for those that hear me as well as for myself and my intentions.

Two: a lot has been said about being careful not to "spout out" the content of specific intentions indiscriminately, or maybe too much at all.

One reason for this is that we can get negative responses from people which can undermine our flow (e.g., "what???? you think that'll work????...ahh...you'll never do that... it's impossible....that'll never happen....I tried that and never got it off the ground....why don't you just keep your job at least you have one....etc. etc. etc)

Another reason talked about is that we might get immediate positive feedback from ourselves (it feels good to talk abt our dreams) or from others (those that aren't inclined to be negative) and that positive feedback could conceivably feel like it's "enough" for us...so instead of practicing my guitar or writing a song, I just talk to others about what I want to do in music--it's a lot easier but I don't actually know any more songs any better(!!)

Maybe the composite of these two perspectives would lead us to generally hold the actual content of our intentions inside while they are cooking, while spreading the positive impact of that cooking all around, including inside ourselves. And of course balance is critical...and sharing our intentions with care is important too, from my pespective...

I think this is a great topic and the above is just one point of view or collection thereof. I hope we hear more response and thinking about it, great topic!
