I'm guessing Steve isn't seeking or care for attention. He just seems to instead make an impact. As he wrote elsewhere, he isn't seeking bigger audience and reaching more people. He seems to instead want to reach people deeper, and build deeper connections rather than reaching many people, but in a shallower way.
