Contradiction?? No... i just see that by selling affiliate goods that have some values for the customers give me a edge.
Someone mentioned before bodybuilding.com, and man they are making dough on dough just on sporting goods (cca. 60MM$US gross annually) that converts if they have 15-20% revenue margin to about 8-10 million dollars of pure profit....
For "adult" sites that sell VOD, "crank that big black c#4k in my a33", etc. it's a looser's game, it's good money to be made there... but it's pure fringe and not mass marketable.
With adult banners you will go only one way: into oblivion, even if you work pretty hard.
