I quite agree with you.
Yet obesity is a bigger problem I suspect in most modern societies, and why because of food advertising and it feels good to gorge. Smoking has a very similar problem. Generally all these three advertise to a younger market
(16-28ish) and they do it very sucessfully. Because people want A/B/C they will drink X smoke Y and eat Z. Until people start putting physical and mental well being ahead of peer pressure and media controls we are going to struggle.
