Hi guys. Can any of you recommend a good web resource for Document Management Systems?
My boss decided that we will be discarding our MS Windows-based shared folders, and use a much "secure" DMS. We used OWL, found at
Owl Intranet -.
The problem is: it made things a bit more complicated. Whenever you need to edit a doc, you have to first download the doc, edit it, and then upload it. Compare that to when just using the shared folder, you only have to open the shared folder and double click the file, and then close and save.
Maybe there's a DMS that has the "feel" or ease-of-use of a shared folder?
Any feedback/recommendation welcome.
