Default Changing social environment = losing friends?

Hmmm...well its kind of common sense what Steve is saying, about bringing a change in your social environment to grow as a person...

Well I seem to have a small problem with it..

One should always have a core group of friends/relationships...Its makes one feel connected...Also its easier then to interact/ignore/avoid other people whom you dont want to be with...I believe Steve mentioned about this in one of his articles...

But doesnt changing your social environment too often, as a means to achieve your goals seems to be too (for a lack of better word) personal..You start losing your friends along the way...I am already on the path of losing my childhood friends because of my choices...Its ending not just from their side but from my side too...thats around 15 years of friendship gone...

You can love all people..But in the end you need people to love you...you need people to open up....
