His company is something to be despised by a lot of computer geeks. We don't like their anti-competivtive practice, the inclusion of DRM in Window Vista, among other things. It is not a company that I would admire.
I don't like how he gain his wealth. I do, however like somewhat he do with it.
I admire hackers like Richard M Stallman who formed an entire movement dedicated to freedom for software users and developers everywhere. They may not be an example of rich boy, but they are certainally powerful human beings(As in their technical prowness) who decided to do good things.
I never stand for those who crack computers unethically(genrally being evil) and run botnet captured from innoccent users and even dared to called themsleves hackers.
