I can totally relate to that. While watching movies, I feel as if everything is perfectly OK. I wish I had as many friends to make me feel as in a movie. Especially when the movie shows people who have many friends, such as in Sex and the City. If I had 3 friends who knew one another and we all went out together consistently, I think it would be heaven. My best friends don't know one another, and the best I can hope for is a one-on-one conversation over a cup of coffee with one of them. They are also very busy (working in jobs they don't like, of course). We rarely meet. I really want to get more, many more friends.

I also believe "talks" are not damaging. Stand up comedy would be the same, I guess.
