Hmm... I don't believe in the supernatural, that's for sure.
I wouldn't call myself a skeptic of Reiki because I don't know anything about it, really. I hadn't the faintest clue what it was until I opened this thread. I have a new friend who's into Buddhism, but also Reiki. She has told me about how it raised her
levels of consciousness. This seems fairly plausible to me; we each have our ways of discovering love, which need not be 100% rational. I'm really completely disinterested in the placebo effect at the moment, however. I don't have to believe in Christianity or "the Lord" to believe that one can grow spiritually on that path. Faith is faith is faith.
