This is funny.
The post does not upset me. Not much has the power to upset me.
I actually thought Steve's tone and content were funny as hell, as well as the button-pushing style and whatnot. It's a departure, to be sure, but Steve does not hold himself steadfast to any one viewpoint or writing style. It's an interesting way to distance yourself from your views.
I can see simultaneously how this separation from your views and your identity can be at once very enlightening and very destructive (when used in a defensive manner).
