I personally never felt shy to tell others about my interest in PD. On the contrary, I'm always looking for people that might have the interest to grow.

I'm trying to become a better person, trying to improve myself, develop skills and help & support others, what's wrong with that? I've had many experiences with friends or people finding it stupid and making fun of me. Honestly, that can get me a bit mad, but they're getting the shorter end of the stick, I've personally chosen to grow and evolve, if they don't want to grow and won't accept any help, it's simply not the right time for them. I see many people simply too afraid to become, in the words of Steve, fully conscious human beings, they'd rather stay mice in their little "safe" caves.
You can't blame them though, some people are simply to conditioned by habits and society and find it difficult to break loose. But in time I'm sure they will and plus now we've got the amazing forum where we can all share advice and ideas and help each other without having to worry about prejudice.
