Janlee,

Sometimes avoiding flesh foods, milk foods, and eggs is not enough. Sometimes you need to also avoid transfats( Trans Fats 101 - Feature Story - University of Maryland Medicine ) and keep your total fat intake fairly low.

Dr. Dean Ornish's program has been scientifically and clinically proven to reverse heart disease. You may want to get his book for some general advice.


If that doesn't work please be aware that there are people who genetically have low cholesterol or high cholesterol no matter what they do.

In that case you may want to see a cardiologist to see if it is wise to go on medication.
