Interesting article, impaul. I think it's true that many married people "settle down" and stop having as much fun with each other. When they were dating, they did all sorts of stuff. Football games, go-karts, rockclimbing, movies, dinners, you name it. When Americans get married, and get older, they tend to start staying inside more. Less activity. So naturally they won't be as fit or even as "fun" if they don't stay conscious.

Relationships are like a fire. You can't just get one going and then leave it alone. It will burn out. You need to keep throwing more logs in! Focus on the fire and enjoy it. A marriage is probably the most important relationship one will ever have (besides the relationship with Self).
