Nah, 27 isn't too late. Of course not.
Traveling is fun, although a bit of a "hassle" with airports and such at times. I've started doing a bit of international traveling in the past two years. Though, I'm not one of those people who want to travel the whole world. I want to see the popular places, like Rome, London (did that), and so on... but if I only visit 10-20 countries by the time I move on, I'm cool with that. It's fun visiting those places and it's new, but ultimately I've noticed that wherever I go... there I am, and I'm perfectly happy whether I'm in the U.S. or otherwise.
My girlfriend has somewhat rich parents who like to travel and by the time she was 20 she had already been to 20+ countries, so she has me beat.
