In order to succeed with any online endeavor you're going to need passion.

If you are contemplating giving up even before you start because one other person is doing the same niche you had in mind, then its probably a good thing you don't start. I guarantee you there's over a hundred people doing the same niche you were contemplating.

You have to ask yourself, would I be willing to write about this topic, every week for the next 1-2 years, without expectation of any income? If the answer is yes, then by all means go foward. If its no, then drop the idea now.

$299 for SBI is a great deal. That's $24.91 per month for website tool for newbies, web hosting, domain name, traffic analysis tools, support, and a ton of features I cannot begin to list here. If you're new to the online world and want to make money at it and have passion and persistence I would recommend SBI. If you are not a newbie and understand how SEO works and how to market and make money on the web, then you should not waste any time on it. Think about it. You are looking to start a business that generates income and you think $24.91 a month is too much? How much were you looking to make a month? Less than that?

Actually SBI is not just for newbies. Now that I have a good grip on this thing, my second site will also be an SBI site, the only thing I would do different is that now I would upload my own HTML from the beginning.

Don't mean to turn you off from an online business. Just think about it real hard. If you have the passion, nothing can stop you. But if you are going to be tripping out on little details, then you're head is in the wrong place.
