You need to take back control of yourself and realize that you are ultimately in charge of everything that you do. You are the only one that can make you do anything. It's true that a bit of outside motivation sometimes gives you a nudge, but it's your time.

A key factor in self control is self dissipline. Self dissipline is not something you 'get' - it is something you already 'got'. The issue is with how you choose to use it. Dissipline is not about doing that which you don't want to do, but about being true to yourself and doing what you ultimately desire for yourself infavour of short term comforts (which are often only habits). It is something you need to practise and the more you practise it the better you get at it...until you can direct yourself to do absolutely anything, whenever you want. Start small and don't punish yourself. Develop balance and DO the things you love, but do it in the 'right' amounts.

Self Mastery is the ultimate challenge in life and it starts with being dissiplines in your thinking.
