that's it, the greatest quality feedback in music comes from good musicians too. If not by music lovers, not by "average listeners".
When I do music, I can't be objective at all in what I'm doing. I can't see it like the music of a musician (that's how everyone see it) and it's very distorting.
I do a lot exactly that of recording myself and hearing the playback

. Anyway what I hear is like seeing myself in the mirror, can I judge my looks? no, it's too subjective...
but I've learnt things through this, there's things I didn't like so I changed it, then I record again and I see the change.
so there is only some things remaining that I just can't judge, you're not sure if they're good or not, even if you listen cause you're to detached to yourself...
then you need others to listen to it and have their say
