 Law of Attraction Takes 60 Years to Manifest
In my local paper today, they relate a story of a 70ish year old gentleman. Apparently, he met the "most beautiful" lady ever over 60 years ago when he was a teenager. As life would have it, they never got a chance to get to know each other and yet he never forgot her smile despite the fact that he forgot her name.
Long story short, he married and was later widowed in early 2002. Upon visiting his children's home that Christmas, he finally (after all these years) remembered the lady's name. Upon arriving home three hours later, he went thru the newspapers that had accumulated when he was visiting his children. Lo and behold, this lady had written a letter to the editor in one of these papers. He searched for her name and number in the phonebook....failed to find it....called the paper and they agreed to contact the lady on his behalf. Minutes later she called him and relayed that she had been married and that her husband had died in 1991.
Four years later, they are engaged to get married at (his) age of 79 this March. Sweet story with the universe's fingerprints all over it.
