i don't know if this would be intuition or the LOA at work but something similar happened to me many years ago, while i was a teenager. for no apparent reason, i suddenly became VERY curious about chicken pox (no one around me was having it/just had it). i went around asking my friends if they'd gotten it, and if yes, what it was like and what they did when they got it. two weeks later, i got it. i didn't know about LOA then but i believed that i had attracted it because of my obsession with it. my friends were like, "you got what you wanted!"
