How Do We Reconcile Our Goal Of Wanting To Help Others With Other Goals?
It seems to be that an integral part of raising consciousness is helping others. Furthermore, the more one's consciousness is raised, the more one wants to help others and the more one sees their life's work as helping others. For example, Steve started in the gaming industry and his personal growth led him down the path of eventually quitting the gaming industry and creating this blog. Other individuals, such as those seen in The Secret, also devote the majority of their time to helping others by teaching them The Secret, etc. So it seems that a natural goal, say, of elevating one's consciousness is continually helping others. But it is necessary to enter the personal development business in order to do this? I'm really getting quite involved with personal development and the Law of Attraction and The Secret and it has always been my life-long goal to become an attorney and help people that way...but it seems that if I really want to elevate my consciousness, I need to do more than that. I can't just be an attorney and help people that way. (I might not even want to if my consciousness really starts to elevate, I don't know) But it seems like one naturally enters this business that way.
What do you guys think?
