You can get standing desks from quite a number of companies already, just without the treadmill. Donald Rumsfeld actually uses one as his normal workdesk, as did Lincoln for a large part of his life. They used to be very popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. The only real problem with them is the price. When I looked for one last (I currenlty use one made out of a kitchen counter-top and 2x4s built by me) they were in the $1200+ range. |
