I used to have lucid dreams when I was a youngster - I would change the way the dream was going and make stuff happen in it, plus I would get myself into scary situations and then say 'Oh, it's just a dream. I can change it...' and I would, although I remember that it required some effort of focus and fixed attention...
How did you get on with your eyesight? I know exactly what you mean: I have something physical that I have manifested and my whole attention is on it every day - I want it GONE but I keep checking 'Is it still there? Has it got bigger?' and of course, I am creating more of it, so my attention is more drawn to it. Don't know how to get my attention off it BUT - before this manifestation appeared I was, like you, trying to improve my eyesight without much success (for the same reasons). Now I have my attention on my unwanted manifestation - and my eyesight has improved radically! It seems like a game of hide and seek at times
