This confuses me too.
If we are listening to good peppy music, rock, jazz, India chants, whatever - that makes us feel good, you would think that would raise our vibrations to allow our intentions to manifest.
And then again, like Annie points out, certain types of music, like Baroque, can cause entrainment of the brain, allowing voice, images, whatever to reach your subconsious more easily while in Alpha state.
I started playing with my own video yesterday, and you can tell if your musical choice 'fits' your story - or not. I watches a YouTube video - I think it was called We Are All The Same - and the background music was
Pachelbel: Canon in D - it was a pretty powerful video - the music made it.
I would also think - correct me if I'm wrong - that alot of the classics would be considered Public Domain by now? As in free downloads? If not, compared to our more 'popular' music I'm sure you could find some classicals in the 'bargain' section of your favorite store
