Sure you can. You just need to find people who are worth talking to, for you. If you have a mature mind, you may find it difficult to relate to people of your age. When I was a teenager, I found I often enjoyed the company of adults more than other teens. I liked the maturity. I don't like talking to drunk college people either. Join a club with like-minded people and you'll start making some friends.
