I'm all for polyamory. Unfortunately in high school it doesn't work like that. For some reason the line "Will you go out with me?" is overused and I believe it translates to "Would you like to have a closed relationship with me?" and few people I've talked to even know what the word polyamory means. I don't think most people would pursue a polyamorous relationship until they are at least in their 20s.
