I'm also monogamous by preference.
That said, what excites me about polyamory is that women are no longer getting the raw deal. The truth is, those men who wanted to have more than one partner always have, but it's more frowned upon when it's women doing it (openly). Polygamy (a man having more than one wife and the wife not allowed to be with other men) has continued to exist in high numbers despite it being illegal here in the US. So because I see polyamory as a fair deal, I feel no need to rail against it. It's just not my cuppa tea. Thanks but no thanks, at least that's how I feel right now. I'm too ADD'ish to keep up with many partners at one time.
