Not directly related, but I am reading an interesting book called 'the power of place' - how the environment influences behavior; it's mostly about things like the influence of seasons/sunlight on behavior but it also went into the effects of magnetism/electricity/solar flares on the body - and that the 'physics' behind ESP and telepathy are entirely possible - and that the model of the human body as purely mechanical is outdated. -and again this is not 'far out' book.
