Quitting can be easy!
After years of trying, I quit alcohol (and smoking) almost two years ago. Once you truly WANT to give up something, it becomes very easy.
Giving up for 30 days as an act of willpower is a different thing, though, becasue you're always thinking of that day when you can have a drink (or a smoke or whatever).
Make it easy on yourself - decide never to have another drink again. Ever.
