With more or less success
But as I said I'm much better now at 'spotting'' when ego/pain is activated, I acknowledge its existence and let it pass. I can 'watch' my thoughts and feeling. Of course not 100 % of the time .....
My problem was that I expected to be able to do it once and then always
In some areas of my life I used to be like that, if I couldn't get it right the first time I would drop the whole thing! (how's that for an ego
) I decided not to give up this time! Now I see I've changed, I'm enjoying the whole process, the fact that each day I learn more and am able to implement more things I read about. Its not a drag anymore but a fun process! Of course I have my ups and downs...
What's really been helpful is listening a 10-minute guided meditation, I feel great afterwards.
