Hmm I do all that by living in my parents' house at the moment. My biggest desire right now, is live in a place on my own and start relying on myself to provide for me. How is that going to happen without a job? I know I can stay where I am, and the above conditions will remain the same. But at the same time, I don't think well of people who are reaching 30 and are still living with their parents, only because they don't want to take their life in their own hands and lose their conveniences.

What happens when this fact by its own, means that you need money in order to do that, and money won't fall suddenly from the sky? So, you will need a job at first. As long as you don't see it a goal for itself, but a means in order to achieve your other goals. At least, that's my situation now that I want to move out from my parents' house.
lightthecandle, do you really want to become a doctor or this is other people's expectations for you? Or you think that that's the only way for you to become rich? Wouldn't it be more productive if you thought about what you would like to do with the money (thus seeing it as a means to an end), rather than just wanting to "be rich"?
