I used to be a pretty heavy drinker back in my college days and for the first few years after. When you stop drinking and your alcohol tolerance fades, it really shows you the impact that drinking has on your body. Now if I have 3 or 4 beers at night, I definitely feel it the next morning.
I have found that my weekends are much longer and more enjoyable when I don't go out and drink a bunch of beers.
I applaud you taking on this challenge.
