It's what I intended to do from the beginning. I do feel somewhat tired close to my nap time, but it could be the habit of taking that nap. I have skipped naps before and did fine. If it's a high activity day, I can get away with one ten minute nap and a bit earlier bed time. I studied some material on sleep a while ago, that suggested that it was more natural for us to sleep shorter period of time. I realize that it goes against the conventional wisdom of the day, but I find it to be true, that I'm more energized and more tuned in to my intuition, sleeping this way. I'm excited how this will work out long term!
