It's nice that you care so much for your loved ones, but you should extend that to other people as well since we're all connected and we're a one big family.
By doing that you'll experience a state of
oneness, which cannot be attained by only loving your close ones.
However it is very nice that you tried to find your life purpose. I am not as lucky as you are in this area. Haven't found my life purpose yet.
But again it would be something like helping others.
