If you go to the website that I mentioned then you can find out what is going on from people who know, not from people who do not know. But it is your decision where to get the information. It all comes down to psychology and intelligence since your mind makes your decisions

Do you care enough about yourself to find out about fasting or not? You asked about it. I did not suggest it. I am not saying that you should do it. I am saying that you should find out what it is about before making a decision. That site above has quotes from 19 different MDs about fasting. It also discusses if your metabolism will slow down or not and other things mentioned above. Note that I am not overweight and I fast and my metabolism slows down. But it explains why people as heavy as you are, do not have a slow down in metabolism. See, the body is smart, not stupid.

I do not know where you are from, but in America if people go doing something without learning about it, it is called going off half-cocked. So I suggest that with this and anything that you do, that you learn about it, before deciding or you will suffer the consequences. Note that the lemonade diet is also known as the master cleanse or the master cleanser lemonade fast. Nno matter what you call it, Beyonce lost 20 pounds in 10 days using it.

The site above tells how to lose weight even if you do not fast. But like anything else, you have to read it and learn it. Now as far as the quote above about gaining the weight back, it is not an automatic thing. First you will not get fat the next few weeks. Then if you decide to eat a better diet, you will not gain the weight back. It will be up to you.

Say you go to church once. Does that mean that you will never go sin again? Say you murdered someone and go to church. Does it mean that you will never murder again or you will? It is up to you. You cannot control the future, only what you do now. The guy who wrote that book about the ultimate diet helped thousands to lose weight. Oprah's doctor had an obese patient and sent him to Dr Fuhrman to lose weight. He has fasted thousands of people.

The site above (if you take the time to even look at it) tells of a study done with overweight people and how most of them did NOT gain the weight back, although some did gain some of the weight back. It also tells about the New England Journal of Medicine saying that fasting is a good way to lose weight.

Discussing losing weight will never cause you to lose weight. Why not try fasting for 24 hours. That is one day. Then you will learn about yourself and fasting and your desire for food. If that is too hard then try going 10 hours without eating any food (not including sleeping).

If you decide not to fast, then you can learn many things that you can do for Losing Weight. But again you will need to take the time to learn. For certain, if you keep doing what you did, you will keep getting what you got. Is it good enough? Do something today. Walk around the block. Then you did one thing to help. That MD that fasts people, wants them to walk an hour everyday on the fast. You can do that even if you are not fasting.
