I forget to add that part.
In the CoA Seth (being an angel and therefore closer to being god than humans) decides to fall to earth to become human and experience all that humanity has to offer.
In doing that he has to giver up his god like powers.
But when we choose to be human we do the same. We retain some of those powers like IM and choice, but they are not as powerful.
Doesn't have too much to do with my post, but I'd just watched the movie and thought it was cool.
