Don't Think Diet, Think A New Way of Life
Hey Zoodles,
At the moment I work at a gym and am studying to achieve my personal trainer's certification.
If you decide on doing the Master Cleanse, I'd highly suggest doing your own research first and getting acquainted with all the details. I've done the Master Cleanse for a total of 19 days and lost around 15 lbs. Just remember, it's just a cleanse and is not meant to be something done for a long period of time.
My recommendation for you, however, is not just to do a cleanse/fast/diet, but rather to get committed to exercising regularly and eating healthier. Set a goal and work at it. You can also do research about goal setting if you haven't already done so.
Start slow and begin by developing the habit first. Remember, everything is mindset. You don't have to jump into doing all of this at once because I've seen way too many people jump into everything simultaneously and fall off quick. After you have developed the habit, feel free to make your adjustments and learn better ways you can achieve your goal.
Also, none of this has to be a tedious task. Trust me, if you can't find ways to make it enjoyable, you will find ways to stop. Search for ways to make it fun--this is key. If you like cooking or preparing meals, find recipes that are healthy yet appetizing and make it. For exercise, take up a hobby or sport that appeals to you. Go play basketball, go for a swim, learn how to play tennis, whatever it is that resonates with you.
Wish you the best and feel free to be in touch!
