What you describe sounds a little bit like something I have occasionally experienced - mostly as a child in fever dreams, but once or twice as an adult. Where I'll be laying an bed half conscious and sort of feel huge and dangerous and unweildy but then thin and fragile and delicate - it's combined with a feeling of unease and slight dread.
Also related is at times when I get very tired I reach a point where it's like I lose my depth perception and everything looks very far away or very close up, like I'll feel like I can just reach out and grab something that is actually several yards away, or that something right in fornt of me is miles off.

I'd never heard of alice in wonderland syndrome before and did at first think you were joking, but having read about it if the info on wikipedia is true then I would say I have probably been experiencing some mild form of that syndrome. It does happen mainly in the dark and at the onset of sleep, as the wikipeida article says. I don't get migraines with it though, thankfully.
