This may be well and true. For me the missing part of the puzzle is the joy. I want to lose weight and still feel good. I don't want dieting to make me miserable. I do not wish for my life to be an uphill battle, but a smooth ride on a sailboat. No one, and I mean, no one has yet offered a solution which actually work in PRACTICE. Theory is all well and good, but it is useless if the 95% of people for whom it matters most fail at applying it.
