I did it myself; then again... I'm kind of in IT (well, web development).
If you do it yourself, it will be a lot cheaper. If you have a professional doing it , you always have (usually expensive) help nearby.
All depends on your demands off course: Is it just for you or for some employees as well? How much knowledge do you have about computers? ...
I know that for many people, dealing with computer problems is very frustrating, in that case, it may be best to hire someone
