Although you may not need a visa, you probably will need to apply for several things at the government.

I am from the Netherlands and living in Belgium, and although I have a legal right to live and work here I still needed to apply for a lot of things. All in all it took me almost a month for a temporal permit and 5 months for a 5 year permit.

Look into what you need, stuff like birth certificate, enough salary, place to live etc.

Good luck, there is nothing better for personal development than living in another country for a while!
