1) べつに is among my favorite words in any language. I learned that it is written "別に".
2) I found out there is actually at least one person in Seattle who would offer to share their umbrella with a complete stranger and worry about their health (even though I absolutely love the rain
).
3) There are still a few things that can really piss me off. Apparently one of them is nearly getting smooshed at a crosswalk--especially when the offender the bus I want to get on. On the bright side, if they were paying so little attention, maybe it's a really good thing I wasn't all the way in front of them yet.
