See upgrading or changing over should not be a difficult system.. microsoft is nowhere near ready to crumble.. if you have that much of a headache.. I have 1 Tb of personal data.. imagine me trying to figure out how to get that from ntfs to ext3, imagine me trying to change music players, browsers, usenet app's and the list goes on and on.. a upgrade or change over should be seamless..

Anyone else that tries is bound to come back to windows.. I will not lie and say unix is not a alternative.. what I will say is it is a 10x harder alternative that you will have to work at.. Windows for now is the "path of least resistance" but resist if you wish too
