Question Setting goals you actually acheive

hi steve, this is lalit from India. Few days back I was completely demotivated and screwed and did not have any desire to do anything because of the problems which have arisen suddenly. Since my childhood I was a very bright student and I was known for my go getter spirit. But after I joined my college, I lost my self control completely and right now I am in a state where situations are driving me rather than myself. Because of this ignorant life I was really feeling hopeless. One day I was surfing for some articles on self discipline and I found your blog, which just opened my eyes. You have touched the subject in so much detail that everyone can find his problem in your prescription.

But one idea which u have illustrated in the above title, that set the goals which can do some betterment to your present is really not clear to me. I have some goals for my life because of my poor condition and how they are going to improve my present. I am totally confused.
Could you please give me some more insight in this regards

lalit
