More money can create more freedom, which in turn can make us "feel good." I definitely agree that having money is better than the alternative!
But no, money in of itself doesn't
make you feel good. This has been proven. There are plenty of unhappy or suicidal millionaires.
Steve, I like usually the analogy of games to life as well. It seems to work well when speaking to video gamers especially. "It's time to level up and earn more achievements!"
