I can't guess at the math required to prove its possibility, but plausible? Very much so. I've always preferred Donne's way of putting it: No man is an Island. Part of being scientific means putting everything you can to the test, no matter how unbelievable it may seem. Being skeptical means that all of your assumptions are subject to question. And being logical means that, if your assumptions change, then your conclusions may very well have to change as well.
